Time counts on reverse for the campaign to support   the Central Public Library of Veria, since  two weeks still remain to reach its goal: to raise the necessary amount of 100.000€  to complete the renovation of the 2nd floor that will lead to the creation of a ultramodern  event hall!

Also in February, Public Stores suggest that the people who buy show tickets online http://tickets.public.gr/  offer the amount they wish in order to support the library’s work.

At first the goal seemed ambitious, but the response and the contributions of the public, from the first moment, from Greece and abroad, were translated into messages of optimism that we will succeed! Especially for Greek people who live abroad, a support page at Indiegogo, https://goo.gl/gliGxa was just created so that their contribution will not bear the remittance costs. Within 1 hour   the first deposits were already made!

The amount already raised is 76.040,63 € and we continue!

Two weeks remain to prove that we ourselves have education and culture as our priority, that we ourselves are united in the effort to create one of the most modern libraries in Europe, that TOGETHER WE WILL TURN ON THE LIGHTS!!!
